Jeremy Damato is a Brooklyn-based photographer whose journey began in 2008, inspired by the documentary work of Magnum Photos. In 2011, he processed and archived several rolls of Vivian Maier’s rediscovered film, culminating in an exhibition at the Cleve Carney Art Gallery in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The following year, Damato served as the unit still photographer for the boxing drama The Challenger, capturing the final performance of Oscar nominee Michael Clarke Duncan. His work has since been exhibited at Agora Gallery in New York City and featured in Black & White magazine, PhotoLife, and the Evanston RoundTable.
